Here some photos from a recent fishing trip I went on. I just tagged along, went for a boat ride. It’s something I feel the need to do every once in a while. Mix it up. Brian Loftes, owner and captain of the 65-foot Evan Christine took me out. It was a day trip, left Point Judith around 3:30 a.m. and got home around 8:30 that night. Fished a large piece of bottom between Block Island and Nomans, did well. From this trip, a groundfish trip, we landed yellowtail flounder, winter flounder, codfish, and skate. Those were the targets species. We also landed a few pounds of whiting, butterfish, one monkfish, and squid. Plus a dozen scallops which I took home. Enjoy the shots, and eat fish.
Nice to see some fish coming out of the Atlantic this time of year. Terrific shots of ground fish and the men that work hard at landing them.
